I'm having connectivity issues when using a ASUS RT-AC68U router in combination with a Huawei E3372 USB modem. The issues occur when the modem is plugged directly into the router, but not when it's plugged into a computer. I can still connect to the internet, and for the most part it works fine, but I experience intermittent connection issues.
When I say dropping WAN, the router would report it was disconnected from the modem, the modem would report it's up and operational. After many support calls to Asus, I RMA'd the router. Got new router from RMA (same model), worked for 2 months, did exact same thing. RMA'd that router and now on my 3rd 56U. 3 months later, exact same issue.
